Bucks got their first turtle rescue under their belt yesterday. Came across this one sitting in the middle of the street on a 95° afternoon. Helped it to safety and sent him on his way.

Can't even get a box of 40 for that price now.

I still have CCI Mini-Mag slide top boxes with $1.49 price tag on them. The ammo is long gone, but those boxes are just handy. The days when you took a brick of ammo and you 10/22 out to play are gone for sure.

Living next to a airforce base has it's downsides but occasionally it works out for the best. Every year we have a front row seat to a great airshow around this time that comes right over the house. This year was the Airforce's Thunderbirds have also got to watch the blue angels twice in years past.

In the past two weeks I packed up just about everything I own, drove 2200 miles west, found a place to live, and started a new job. It's been a bit hectic to say the least. Finally did a little bit of exploring now that I got all of that stuff figured out. Haven't even scratched the surface yet

This was supposed to be a quick project but turned into a whole lot more due to a neighbor calling code enforcement. It turned out better than I imagined and will be submitted for final inspection tomorrow. Then I get to start on the inside!
