Stone Glacier as Carry on

Has anyone ever flown with a frame pack as carry on luggage. I'm trying to figure out if I can check my rifle, and then carry on my Stone glacier (partially full so it's not big) and then also carry on yeti hopper or a dry bag filled with some gear. Goal is to only check 1 bag on the plane ride to AK.

Anyone had success doing this?

I have carried on a Mystery Ranch twice, for scouting trips to MT.

I have done this several times with a MR longbow or Crewcab on a Nice frame. Last fall my longbow was even soaked with moose blood for the ride home, after packing moose until the wee hours the night before.
