Great pic btw - Also, how do you identify the difference between a hatchery steelhead and a native? You mentioned in your other post the c&r role for native. Are hatchery slightly fin clipped?

Oh... hehe, this in notellum river? South of notellum lake? Washington, Idaho? Okay, I give up - fantastic fishing though.

The adipose fin (right in front of his left thumb in bottom pic) would be clipped if it was a hatchery fish.

Nice fish by the way and excellent photo!

No flash. I took it off of 'burst mode' so it only took one picture at a time with the timer. The Intelligent ISO did the rest.
