My son was lucky enough to draw an apprentice tag for Fort Hunter Liggett. It is a general A zone tag on a military base for Junior hunters during or near the rut. Since it is an apprentice tag, they also allow it to be an either sex tag. Fortunately on the second morning of hunting, we found this 3 x 3 bedded down. He jumped up and ran 50 yards, then stopped. Wow that's a great buck! I used to hunt there for pigs. Congrats to you both!
