A couple BAA state records shot this past weekend! The OR state common carp 64.9 pounds by Nick Scarla. Also the ID and OR state mirror carp record at 35.9 pounds by Ryan Kueffler.

That’s my brother/partner who shot the mirror carp record. We both hang on for dear life lol

holy carp I didn't realize they got that big!!!

Out of curiosity and piggy backing onto ricketts post, is there anything you can do with carp or are they just used as chum or bait or garbage? I've never shot one or tried to so excuse the ignorance.

It does not go to waste. It is used for fertilizer and commercial Crawdad trappers. And there is a dog food place I believe and a mink farm but they don’t want them.
