Small 4x4 truck with best fuel economy?

I drive a 2004 Ford Ranger 14 mpg

A smaller truck is typically a little cheaper on parts and maintenance compared to full size trucks

My parents' Outback averaged 17-18 mpg when towing my teardrop trailer (about 1,000 lbs).

You could get the Gladiator with an ecodiesel- 22/28/24mpg. But the added fuel cost and cost of the motor itself would get you a fair bit of unleaded. Same for the Colorado with the Duramax, as mentioned earlier. Or just import yourself a diesel Hilux 🤷‍♂️

@HUNT TALK MAN - what say you?

I saw Kendall Ford of Bozo had some F-350s last winter for 127k. List price was 85k.

We ordered 4 pickups last August and doubt we will even see them in 2022.
