Today is a very sad day for me. My Dad was told that he only had a short time left because of Heart problems. He was recieving Home Hospice care, but he decided since they took away his ability to drive that he will go live in the Nursing Home with my Mom.
He is a great guy who I think the world of, but I just think I would put Black PJs on and lay down in a Truck Stop before I went into one of those places. But, we will make it as nice as we can for both of them. Don't really know why I am sharing this, but so many of ya'll come across as a far away cousin in my day to day life. John

Sorry to hear that!!
Nothing worse than seeing you parents slowly leaving for a better place:(

Sorry to hear about your Dad, John. Maybe he just wants to spend his remaining time with your Mom. I'm sure he knows what is best for him.

That sucks...sorry to hear that. I bet he just wanted to be with your mom. That doesn't make it any easier for you though.

Sorry to hear about that John, wife and I are facing a similar situation in two of our remaining three parents ... never an easy thing my friends.

Thoughts & prayers are with you.

Sorry to hear that... My dad is in a home... you can never be prepared ... very sad time

Sorry to hear this. Hopefully being with your mom will make the time pass easier for him.

Sorry to hear about your Dad, mine died in 1988. I miss him every day. Spend as much time w/him as you can.
God Bless you and yours.

So sorry to hear this kind of news.
Spend as much time as you possibly can with him and talk, talk, and talk some more. I get so mad when I think of something that dad would know how to do and I can't call him anymore.

Sad news, John. I wish there was something that would make it different. Prayers to your family.

Prayers sent to you and your family. Hopefully your Dad and the rest of the family can enjoy the time he has left. Good luck.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you guys can make the best of it, and things turn up for the better.
