Its happened to me the past two years. When Sept. rolls around I've been so busy with work and whatnot that I haven't gotten as excited about archery elk as in times past.
Then winter rolls around and I wish I could have spent more time in September chasing bulls. After working on the house all day and watching the rain, cabin fever settled into my bones. I went through some pictures of the last major pack in elk hunt that I went on back in 2008.
I thought I'd share a few and invite everyone else to post up some of their favorite elk hunting photos. It doesn't have to be archery but it would be nice if they featured some of the better side of elk hunting like good scenery and sunny days. You can keep your pictures of waist deep snow and trucks stuck in the mud for another post. I don't need to be reminded of bad weather!
