Henry makes a cool little 22 for plinking. Maybe I should look at that for a pack gun.

Well I didn't have as much $$$'s as I thought I might, and I bought the Henry's Mares Leg .22 (Made in USA), and man is it a fun little plinker to shoot. I had to adjust the rear sight after I got it becuase it was shooting to the right, but it comes with a lock screw to hold the sight in place after you make adjustments.

I've already put a couple hundred rounds through it.

I'm gonna make me a litlle pack holster and carry it on my backpack this summer when I'm out an about in the woods.

I never bought the maresleg 45 but bought a judge carbine instead. now
I'm looking at a mareleg 357. Fun guns to shoot and easy to carry.
