Well guys, this is why you should always be careful what you read on the Internet. After reading this thread a second time from the top I realized I gave fantastic advice on the bedding of your picanny scope base. I am not sure about JB Weld on your stock but I can't recommend that, LOL. Mtmulley you may be wise to be nervous about such an idea. Good luck.

I, or I should say we, (I have a teacher thats been doing it for 40+ years), used Acra Glas also on my old 1942 1903 Springfield -06. Easy to use and worked great posting a pic. Nuthin' special other than it was Dads and the rifle I learned to shoot with. I ever do it again I'll use the Glas again. Expect some comments bout my messy bench, so bring em on! Hahaha
