Reduction in number of NR deer licenses

Oklahoma collects

Date of kill
Time of kill
Weapon used
Sex
Adult or juvenile
If male how many points per side
County
Public or private
If Public which specific piece

-type of weapon used
-sex
-if antlerless they ask to specify adult or
yearling
-County where harvested
-number of points over 1"
-circumference at the base of the antler
- length from the corner of the nose to the
nostril
-usually also report if you've seen x animals while out hunting (such as animals they are monitoring. Here its Bobcats and turkeys)

That's all done either online or over the phone whatever your preference. Takes less than a minute to complete.
They also ask public or private. Pretty sure they do, it's been a few years since I had to do one

I’d add days hunted, weapon used to harvest, and if you shot an animal that you didn’t recover.
Number of tines on left and right idk why this wasn’t all just built into the e tags makes my head hurt such a huge opportunity missed

I'd really like to know how many animals are killed on private without valid tags each year in Montana.🤔
And in limited entry units on a general tag. Would be really easy to get away with…

I’m sure no spike hunters archery hunting 380 and calling in bulls would ever dream of sticking one…

Even if the last part somehow made it. That would be the most lied about one out there.
Are you referring to the unrecovered animal part? I don’t think people would claim they lost an animal if they hadn’t. I’m also not sure why people would be afraid to admit they lost an animal in an anonymous survey, but even if that was the case, I think less than perfect data is better than no data at all.
