Proud Grandpa, Happy Grandson

My grandson loves to fish and has been wanting to fish somewhere other than farm ponds. Last night I took him to the river and he caught his personal best smallmouth. He also caught his first crappie, it was small, but he was having the time of his life.

I always like these kinds of Grand events. We always gave a substantial discount during Pink Salmon years to grandfathers bringing their grandsons, under 16, to Alaska. Kids would leave after a week of fishing, hooked for life and a future client. Actually did that program long enough we had a young man, who was 15 when his grandfather brought him up come up two years before we sold the place with his 10 year old son and his grandfather. That was really fun.
Now that I’m a grandfather I can’t think of a better way to spend a day. Well done F4S
