With all the negative things happening in this country right now, it was sure an uplift for me to have my oldest daughter to prove that we must be doing something right with raising them.

2 things this week that just makes me proud to be a dad.....

The first was when my 9 yr old daughter Katie wrote her letter to santa.........see attached letter. Love it that she is looking out for other people, she is a caring little bugger. She is always wanting to help others (clearly her siblings are and exception).

Then, we had a little present wrapped on the table the other day. Said, to Mommy and Daddy from Katie. We open it and there is like $13 in there. We looked at her and she says this: " I know you guys just got us a new house and heard you say that you were running out of money, so I wanted to give you mine". ........Wife and I could barely keep it together on that one: Pretty awesome.

Anyway, thought I would throw a nice story out there with all the grimness going on this holiday season:)

Come on already and get the poor kids some monsters, crocodiles, and unicorns.

Cute letter.

That's awesome critter!!!!! You and your wife are definitely doing a LOT of things right! I started cracking up at the stompeez line! You guys should be super proud of your kids! I went to school today and had lunch with my 5 y/o and it was pretty special to see the kids and teacher that look up to and like my son! Cherish these moments, you are a great Dad!

If you need a puppy i have one that's grown and trained... you can have her. I warn you she bites liberals.

The first part of that is a no...........but the second part would be great if I could live with the first part:)

I'm sure a puppy is in our future, but need to get settled in our new place first:)

Thanks for reminding us of good. Shitty week in the world and it helps to remember to appreciate what we have around us. Congrats on raising a wonderful young lady.
