I found this article somewhat disturbing. Because of my close relationship with Randy I am privy to much about his show that most aren't. I've seen the struggles he's had first hand starting in the business and the continual struggles to actually have a TV show.

I guess my question is why can't producers/networks leave "well enough alone"? Why try to constantly change things with shock factor attributes? I understand the importance of trying to make something better and constantly trying to improve but shows anymore are being steered to either produce fake events, sell sex, or throw in swear words for shock factor when this isn't something that the people normally do.

Most of the staged crap is an insult to anyone with a scintilla of lucidity.

I have never watched DD and I never will...show's of this nature are a dime a dozen and not worth watching IMO. If they don't like the bleeps, then just quit the show and go get a regular job somewhere else.

What bothers me about people on shows on TV is they endorse products they have no clue about, like DD I'm sure and others. One year it's this is the best bow in the world...and the next it's year due to loss of sponsorship it's not...now it's this new one...OR this is the best cooler...until they are not a sponsor anymore. That is just as bad as bleeping IMO.

I could go on and on....These guys all need to quit whining about a few bleeps or just quit.

If you had you'd know Phil Robertson doesn't whine. You'd also know he has a regular job....and a damn good one.
