Heck with the outdated 1st amendment.

The First Amendment protects the freedom to peacefully assemble or gather together or associate with a group of people for social, economic, political or religious purposes. It also protects the right to protest the government.

Seems this is the time to shit on the Bill of Rights. FB is censoring peaceful protests, Youtube is censoring any scientific studies that go against the media narrative, the government has banned all public gatherings and even public religious services.

Maybe we should change it to the Bill of Privileges?

FB and YouTube are private companies that can censor what they want, they also have rights...the big bad government has the authority, in certain emergency situations, to legally ban public gatherings and religious services due to things like pandemics.

Get over it.

Bio fuel is being looked at in AZ on the rim. The idea is to take the stuff that is already bringing cleared from the forest floor and mulched, burned, etc to lower fire danger and haul it Off to be used. One of the bigger issues I’m told is that it’s economical when you’re doing it near the power plant, but it quickly isn’t with hauling costs. (That was before fuel for semis was <$2/gallon)

Social media platforms are private companies. Some would say almost monopolistic private companies. At the very least they are extremely hypocritical touting "free" speech and practicing the exact opposite. Here's an article discussing the issue from the American Bar Association.

Which part of the constitution gives the government the right to suspend the first amendment?

I think that bio fuel would be great if it was mainly using waste materials and it was economic. But harvesting trees to burn seems at least somewhat counterproductive in my mind.

A lot of the reviews and juxtaposing it with Gasland, which had a lot of factual errors. Neither or the films is perfect, but I had fewer eye roll moment with Moore’s film.

“Pronghorn an endangered species” or something to that effect was a real groaner from Gasland.

The Southeast has a lot of forested acres and trees grow very fast there. Great place to invest in a bio energy plant.

Contrary to what the green energy zealots tell you, a prosperous forest products industry leads to more acres of forest, not less.

or get bailed out by Joe public

Absolutely this^...the perfect "capitalist" model...privatize profit and socialize loses.

Goes on in the AG industry, timber industry, mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, biofuel, nuclear, etc. etc. etc.

Not always a bad thing, without the .gov pumping a metric chit ton of money into those "capitalist" industries, there would be no option for anything to do with mitigating impacts to wildlife, clean air, or clean water.

Tax payers always pick up the tab...one way or the other.
