In the very early 1960s, Idaho offered 10 archery only Mtn goat tags.....I drew permit #001. After successfully hunting and not seeing another goat hunter, I discovered I was the only applicant for those 10 permits. Not coincidently, that was before compound bows (around 1970) allowed anyone to become an "archery" hunter rather quickly.

I’m sure there are others that would enjoy this too but If you have any pictures or have a write up of your recollection of that hunt I’d sure enjoy it.
