My wish list was never long, in fact there's only one more on it and today's purchase only makes 3 handguns in my cabinet.

I've found the 365 platform feels right in my hands above all others. I have the 365 SAS & wanted this one.

The next and likely last for me will be P320 Xten Comp.

Hopefully get a few rounds fired yet this afternoon.

Nice! Been hankering to offload my G40 and get something less.. large. P365 or a full size M&P 9mm are top contenders.

Should be able to get a "deal" on 320s now days.

I’ve read the phantom discharge happens on both models. My wife has a new 365 she’s too terrified to carry lol yours looks bigger though. Good looking arms, no doubt!

Those 365s are nice guns. I’m just so used to shooting Glocks that I always have to consciously fix my grip angle, so I sold mine to a buddy. G45 and G43X cover just about everything for me in 9mm now.

Shot my Gen5 19 MOS suppressed for the first time Saturday. Let me tell you what, might have been the most fun I've ever had with my pants on.

How do you like the sight on SAS? I really liked the sight in the shop, but then didn’t like it all once I started shooting it.

I’d love to try one suppressed. The serious gun is a 17 with an RMR and X300. It’s almost boring hitting steel past 100 with it.

It takes some getting used to for sure. I figure it's an up close & personal pistol. Kind of for the point & shoot range.

The SAS does well for what it was designed for in my very limited experience; not getting hung up during draw.

Everybody posts pretty target pics, you'll never have to worry about that from me as far as pistol goes. I know what fundamentals I'm not doing correctly/consistently so that allows me to do my part to keep ammo manufacturers in business.

Next time out I'll have more time to slow down. I can see already that this new pistol will allow me to extend my range, eventually.

Back in the 1980s the Maryland State Police switched over to Sig for their service pistols.
I watched a State Trooper hit the decocker, finger away from the trigger, and put a round in the wall.

I've stayed away from Sig ever since then.

The militaries "procurement" process for the Sig P320 just further enhanced my opinion of Sig.

I'm not a Glock guy either, but would have been the better choice.

I agree. It’s crazy to me Sig’s marketing and clear government swindling for those contracts is enough to sway the general public into purchasing from them.

They sure do feel nice in the hands though. I just can’t trust a firearm with so much conspicuous clout around it.

Congrats on and enjoy your new pistol regardless of our opinions!

I carried a SAS P365 for quite a few years. I really liked the way the sight worked, but with a little bit of dust accumulation the thing became non functional, so I sold it for a standard sight P365.

I’ve put upwards of 10,000 rounds through various 365 models and pointed them at my lower extremities carrying for years. I’ve never had a worry they’re great guns, enjoy the new purchase.

I just got the wife a 365 Fuse to replace and absolute POS Glock 48 that after +-300rounds would finally, sometimes, get through more than 1 mag without a failure to function using various type of ammo. She is very happy with the upgrade....and the 365 platform is an upgrade in every sense of the similarly sized Glocks. Great features, high capacity, good trigger, direct mount optics, modularity.

A couple of things to take into consideration about the Sig 320 "issue". First, the reported issues have only been with the specific 320 9/40 platform...NOT the 320 X Ten or 365s which are completely different platforms. Second, take everything you "see" with a grain of salt.....and I use that last word intentionally. There are a LOT of folks with very specific motivation to try and find anything possible to attack Sig because of the last cycle of military contracts. Salty would be an understatement when describing that subset, especially the Glock fan boys. Any piece of machinery or media can be manipulated in order to "show" what one might want. I have been selling guns for 5 years now, our shop has sold THOUSANDS of 320 variants and has not had a SINGLE complaint for anything relating to this issue, stores across the world continue to sell them (and I assure you that insurance companies are VERY apt to cut us off from products they see liability in and could not care less about military procurement), and military and police continue to use the platform. Personally, between my 320 AXG and the various 320 variants I have shot in training I probably have 5-7000 rounds through them with ZERO issues.

All that being said, food for thought, if you have to pick a single semi-auto pistol for absolute dependability I would say you have two choices and they are a "U pick'em" situation.....HK USP or Sig 226.
