One Big Beautiful Bill is not dead - Senator Mike Lee's turn to go after our public land.

I know one is for the affordable housing.
We should at least require some conditions - land sales must be under 300 acres, must be at fair-market price, must be used for low-income multi-family housing, and funds must be used to buy other land (I would have said the funds should have been put in the LWCF accounts, but those are being pillaged too), etc.

Because he represents their interests.
As a Christian conserative I could not morally vote for the alternative in the WH and chose to defend my interest where I don't align with republicans. So I will continue to call and send emails to my democratic senators who are already opposing the bill.

Have you... thought through the implications and issues with that?

Read UT history. It has always had a dislike-hate relationship w the federal gov't, since the feds told LDS no more polygamy. Read about the Recapture ATV protest. Next read about the Blanding pot hunting sting by FBI.
This is part of it. You also need to understand Deseret theology and building Zion. You need land for that. Land that the church considers to be theirs by divine right.
