Nov 3 - Independents’ Day?

Man I have been getting bombarded the last 2 days with Bodnar/Epstein connections because of who has donated to him. Haha, must be the Rs are at least a little worried to spend some money on a smear job against an independant.
Epstien accusations from either party is hilarious at this point. Well not hilarious, actually disgusting, still. Pathetic would be a better word.

This one is a stretch and a half...lol Seth has about much connection to Epstein as i do...which leads me to believe they are actually worried he could win.

The question I am interested in seeing on Tuesday is just how close Bodnar and Bankhead are. I predict Allme will get over 50% of the vote, and I give Austin 5%. If Bodnar gets 30% and Bankhead only 15%, then I see a strong future for Independents in Montana.
Well... looks like bodnar overperformed your guess.

Bankhead should have yeeted herself out.

Prediction: 'Something to ponder is Bodner versus Daines in next Montana gubernatorial election. Gazillionaire Gianforte with support the Daines campaign, however even with a few token legislative wins for Montana and public lands, yet Sen Daines will have an extremely difficult challenge in removing his MAGA hat!

If she had, what do you think the outcome would have been?
Hard to say and impossible to know.

I think its likely true that less disgruntled repubs would vote for bodnar if they thought he was going to win. Its also true that more dems might have turned out for bodnar if they thought he had a hope of winning.

One thing it would have done - made things more interesting.

... are you assuming he’d pick up every democratic vote? If so, what does that tell you?
Yes, and math at published vote numbers show Bodnar winning with addition of Democratic numbers.

Yes, that is a reasonable assumption, depending on when Bankhead dropped and then supported Bodnar.
What it tells me as another reasonable and logical assumption is that Seth Bodnar is a strong political entity in Montana.

Why do you wish to be argumentative about such assumptions which are logically valid ... however unprovable, of course?

I’m sorry you feel I’m being argumentative, it is an interesting discussion.

On a night in which the Dems rolled Texas, this was an ok showing- not great, but there is something there with this guy. From my perspective, he aligns much more with the Dems than Republicans (which the voting breakdown clearly supports).

Perhaps he would be strategically best-served to lean into that, especially since the brand is seemingly improving (for now anyway).
