Good job on sticking with it and getting an elk. Too many people get discouraged from not seeing elk right away and give up early on this once in a lifetime tag.

I have always heard that elk is good, but man they are tasty. I have had tenderloin and eggs, an elk omelette and an elk burger tonight. My wife likes it too! Future hunts are always more likely if the wife enjoys eating it too.
