This one almost got away, i could only see it's head in the crops, i moved to a better position and it decided it was time to go to bed in the timber, it jumped the fence and i had a split second to shoot before it disappeared, i will admit it wasn't the best shot i have ever taken as it was rushed and i hit it in the liver, but it had the desired result.
Off down the river now to try for a Salmon!

Cheers

Love seeing and hearing about far away game and places. Keep it up. Thank you.

Thanks chaps, but it didn't work, 4 hours fly fishing all for nothing and the river was perfect, one guy i met caught one when he was spinning, i knew the Salmon would be the problem.

Cheers
Richard

I thought of a Roe Buck when I saw this one last week!! There are two of them in the same area. Messed up gene pool! Congrats

Ate some of him last night, very tasty indeed.
Prepared the skull, quite happy with the results, not the biggest i have shot but it is pretty well symmetrical with great pearling.

Cheers
