I totally agree with you. These are state and local problems. Ive heard the need for deed restricted housing and other ideas. Selling one of the best parts of the American idea isn't the answer.

My Instagram algorithm has been flooded the last 2 days with all sorts of different places talking about this sale of public land and being opposed to it. Lots of hiking, biking, fly fishing etc.
My wife asked me about it too because a lot of the travel crowd she follows have been coming out opposed it to too.

Mike Lee seems set to die on this hill. He is now claiming conservative influencers are being paid to oppose...what an idiot. Even saw Ted Nugent opposed. Sounds like Lee is definitely going to revise his land sale language in an attempt to salvage. Hopefully all his colleagues tell him to just drop it.

Saw this morning that SCI came out in opposition. Lee has managed to pi$$ off literally every single hunting and fishing organization in the country. He must have some serious political debts he has to pay off with this. I think he is severely underestimating how many enemies he is making in the process….

Lee is the convenient villain here. Disposing of Federal public land has been on the platform for a loooong time. Let’s not pretend that there are not 50+ senators and 200+ Reps that would gladly jump on board if not for 1000’s of phone calls. Sadly this fight isn’t over, and it won’t be the last time we need to fight it.

She also wont let you ask her questions verbally in a TOWN HALL MEETING. Per her new SOP, questions have to be presubmitted and if she doesn't like them, just throws them in the trash can next to her.
