Just read an interesting story @ a father/son team hunting feral goats in NM. They were out looking for Barbary Sheep on public land & shot 4 feral spanish rams. They didnt see any Barbary sheep. They said that they commonly see feral goats in the area. Sounds intriguing !

That does sound interesting, I've been looking into Barbary sheep in NM. At least this would be a backup, or skip sheep all together. Where did you see the article?

Sorry. I cant remember the exact site. I was surfing the net looking for info on Barbary Sheep in NM. It was a real story, w pics.

I just got back from a west Texas Aoudad hunt and there was a pack of 50 or so feral goats running around that lease. My buddy and another guy ended up killing 3 and i got my Aoudad!! They have been around that lease for 25 years or more they said.
