Any of you high tech guys out there have a suggestion regarding cell phones? I will be needing a cell phone in about a month. Need it to have internet/email access as a priorty, and be pretty rugged. Had a Palm Treo last year and was pretty happy with it, but I am sure technology has changed in the past year. Thanks for any experience you are willing to share....

I have a landscaper friend, he always gets the insurance, because the phones don't survive, but the insurance replaces them.

Tom,

Why does the landscaper plant the phones?

Do the trees and shrubs he plants survive?

I planted an Apricot tree and a Cherry tree this Spring. The Apricot looked dead most of the summer, and the Cherry looked alive. Now, as Fall approaches, I think the Apricot tree is thriving and there is only about 2 leaves on each branch of the Cherry Tree.....

My Apple trees are loaded with fruit, but no Macintoshes or iPhones.

I use a Blackberry. It has been dropped several times - some of those onto concrete. It has kept working despite that. (Yeah, Jose, I just wanted to see what would happen..... ;) )

Sounds like a republican Apricot tree and a democratic Cherry. I'm glad the Apricot is doing good now, maybe the cherry can be revived somehow!

I have the Newer Treo 750. I will never go to another phone. Unless I do, But at that time, I will probably not put it in the ground to plant it.

I hope you know I pulled out the Tom keyboard on purpose.... no ? Unless I didn't, but then I did.

I went from the treo 755 to the slide. I could surf, text and make calls with one hand while driving.

The slide requires 2 hands for texting and internet surfing....I have since learned to drive with my knee.

Are you going to use it when hunting?? If so, make sure to look for a tri-mode. Many places I go i cannot dial unless i put it in a forced Analog mode.
