I messed with photobucket and broke the links. Here's a photo of the elk, and a deer my friend shot while we were trying to find elk the other day. It's an old buck, 25 inches wide. It was really cold out, -25 degrees and not over -10 or so all day. Elk hunting is a circus right now due to the conditions, poor elk.

That farking snow looks deep. A good man in good conditions like that should pull out a buck a day.

Nice buck! I saw a couple too...too bad my tag was filled with a dink already... then again, if I'd killed a deer I wouldn't have killed a bull...and yes, there was fire involved too!
