My girls first hunt

After completing hunters safety and then learning how to load and shoot her new rifle my daughter Megan became a hunter this spring. So, with a little luck and some guidance from me she was able to try out some of her new skills on this young boar.

I'm sure the dads can relate, when I say you just never forget these days.

I love it anytime I see our youth hunting, especially young ladies. And I can relate, my daughter and son hunts with me and my daughter was able to kill her first two deer this past year. That was about a year ago and I`m still telling people about it!

I must say our family has been eating ground bear burgers like crazy this summer and whether or not my kid killed it...those burgers have been some of the best meat we've ever eaten.
