My 13 year old nephew got it done

My nephew Hunter got it done today in Idaho. This kid has been through a lot this year. He stayed up beat and knew his limitations. I could see the smile on his face today, even though I wasn’t there.

A big shout to the Idaho F&G for helping out with this hunt. They called a landowner and told them about Hunter and his situation. The landowner was all in with helping him try and get a deer. I don’t even know how to thank these folks. My faith in humanity has been restored.

Hunter’s dad shot his first buck this year as well. I think they are hooked.

I forgot to mention that the landowner and his two buddies talked him through the shot. 390 yards and the buck dropped in his tracks. Incredible for a first timer with no turret.
