Hi everyone,

This is my first post to the site although I have visited many times. I thought I would share some photos of a buck I've been chasing this year in the Badlands. My brother-in-law and I first saw this buck last Thanksgiving. I was fortunate enough to find his left side drop this spring and have seen him numerous times throughout the year. Four weeks ago I managed to get to within 23 yards of him on a sneak but he saw me before I could get a shot off. Last weekend, I again spotted him bedded and tried another sneak only to have it end at 60 yards. I am hoping that he lays low for 2-1/2 weeks as our rifle season opens tomorrow and I don't have a tag. My plan is to keep after him beginning again on Thanksgiving weekend. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Nice to finally see you around here. You know I would be there with you if I could. I'm rooting for you, go get him!

Go get him Muley. Would be cool to see a pic of that buck with your tag on him.

That's a great looking buck, hope you get your chance.

Muley1,

You have moved in close on this buck twice this fall. It's seems like you have him figured out and it's just a matter of time. Stick with it, we would love to see you post pics of you holding that bruiser in the near future!! That is a great ND mulie. Good luck and keep us posted!
