Starting today I get to hunt every day until the season's over. Karma might come around on my ball peen hammer comment about this place a few years back. Hardly any snow below 9000ft and very little in forecast. Sheep sightings have been slow, other than small groups of ewes down low and a couple young rams. Crossing the fingers for some great rut action, but it seems like they could be anywhere in a huge portion of the Spanish Peaks. I have no idea where the rams I saw in the summer have been for 2 months. Some excellent tag soup might be made over the holidays this year.
