Just got back from our annual 3-4 day Eastern MT deer hunt. Rut was in full swing, as good as I have seen it. We saw a ton of deer..probably more than any previous year..although it did seem like the number of quality bucks were down considerably. We did see 2 "no-brainer" shooter bucks, but couldn't put it together.

Had a blast and ended up with 3 quality bucks... packed A LOT of meat, ate like kings, ran out of beer, and filled the freezer with 7 mule deer between my dad, brother and I.

Probably the hunt I most look forward to each year.
