Took the wife for her first time paddlefishing and imagine that she catches one before me. The way this one put a fight on for her she said she doesn’t think she’d want to hook into a bigger one. I’ll hopefully make it up there in another week if the season is still open

I am looking forward to targeting these fish once we get out to Montana. I have not sold off my my 11 foot heavy weight saltwater jigging rods just so I can catch me a paddlefish. I hear they are pretty tasty.

They are pretty good. I’ve heard people say they taste like swordfish. I’ve never had swordfish so couldn’t tell you

Nice. I live 10 miles away and have went several times for catch and release.

I have to come up and try this one of these years, looks fun and i have couple surf rods. Looks like good family time!
