Found about 30 oryx half mile on range went around to park behind a hill and there was some guys already parked there and hiking in to sit on those oryx in hopes they'd cross. So we went on our way

Found 2 oryx out in this green patch close to a mile on range and feeding away from us.

Found more oryx this evening. 200 yards off the public sat and waited til dark bit they never came over. Hopefully in the morning

Seen about 30 oryx on range today so far and then seen 4 on ted turners side of the fence. Going to walk a new area I havnt been in yet here soon...

Was up high glassing and found a oryx heading straight towards the fence. So we got walking that way and got into a decent position ready for it to cross... got about a 100 yards from the fence and it did a 90° turn and angled out back onto the range. Watched it awhile but it kept feeding away. Search continues for more oryx. Hopefully we can get to another spot before it's to late

Now for this morning. Headed to the hill we wanted to glass and pple already there so we turned around and headed to a different hill... got up on it and glassed up oryx right away.. all over the place problem was they were all literally just across the fence like almost standing on the fence... all except for 2 that were on our side.. yessss finally! So we get back to the truck and drive to a water storage tank that was about halfway to them

Glass again from the tank, O wait there's a oryx that's between 2 herds of beef cows! Game on! We load up with water and head out. Sun at our back and the wind in our face this is perfect set up

Were at 500 yards he's feeding in have sage and grass... need to get closer... plus no clear shot in the sage. I look away a bit and then he's gone. Can't spot him anywhere... glass and glass trying to find him.. I can see that he was kinda on a lil ridge but don't think it's enough to hide him...

So we finally start easing closer ANZ glassing as we go. We get to where his tracks are. We gotta be close still can't see him. So we ease closer. Then I see him thru a bush. Close like under 20 yards close!

I whisper to my wife that he's right there and he jumps up runs out to 80yards and stops broadside. She's on him and boom! The 7mm goes off! Shot looks good. He takes off I tell her shoot him again and she does! He gets the wobbling legs and tips over!!!

What relief to see him topple. 5 days of hunting and first oryx we saw off range. Couldn't hardly believe we had one!
