Minnesota Monster

A Minnesota 12 yr. old harvested this 229 lb., 27 point whitetail know locally by some residents as "The Monster". How could he ever top this? He got it this past Wednesday, 11-07-12.

That slid right by me. Don't know really, I think somewhere near Brainerd, but article did say it was on his aunt's farm.

that thing is a pig! I cant even find a fork and horn this year! that kid has got to be amazed at his luck. he should switch to elk hunting and get a monster bull!

HA! He won't top it. Kids in Maine do that every so often shooting huge black bears or huge whitetails like this. Or the kids in Montana who end up shooting 300"+ bulls. It's really cool. I'd say it's gods way of ensuring our sport survives...just a thought.
