Not much deer activity where we were, but the sunrise was amazing. Headed back up this weekend hoping for better weather than 58 degrees.

Great views! Doesn't look like any snow in the long range forecast for MT. Pray for snow! :)

I'd take 40 degrees and windy over what we've got now!

Careful what you wish for Ben. I recall a day on the Canal road north of Gibson when I honestly thought my pickup was going to blow over. It felt like an angry mob of St Patty's Day partiers in Butte had a hold of the sides and were trying to put it on its top.

Last year, same spot - wind was about 45 mph sustained with gusts up to 60. There were a few times I thought the truck camper was going to go flying as it lifted the cabover up and took me for a bumpy night ride.

Still, we shot a nice buck that evening, so I'll take success & wind over warmth and limited movement. :)

It's pushing 80 here in Ohio today. I just can't get in to deer hunting while it is like this, even with some good bucks showing up on the trail cameras. Good luck on your hunt!
