I’m impressed that he’s actually an active member in the forum, and ill be even more impressed if he actually listens to the opposing view, seriously considers it, and has the gumption to admit when wrong. Being against public access to public land because there are poachers and trespassers out there isn’t a solution to a problem, it’s using a problem to drive an agenda.

I’ll go on record stating I appreciate @Eric Albus engagement here. I often don’t agree with him, but he’s willing to engage in a mature debate without the childish name calling and hacks that so many here seem to devolve into. The man has my respect for that.

As it relates to this thread, I don’t agree with his logic and have stated such. But we can disagree without being disagreeable. I hope he continues to participate in this forum, and wish more elected officials would likewise go into places where their views aren’t popular in order to civilly debate both sides.

To be clear, I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard anywhere that @Eric Albus has said that he thinks CC is illegal or should be illegal. He’s pretty consistent with saying he’d like to see the Supreme Court give a definite ruling on the legality of it.
