Last Youth Hunt

My Son didn't draw any hunts in NM this year so we picked up a 6C Antlerless Youth Incentive tag for Dec 26th -30th. We glassed quite a few elk before noon, just couldn't get close enough for a shot. I glassed a herd around 1:30 in some thick trees about a mile away, so we moved closer and started to still hunt through the trees. About 2 hours later we found them and Bill shot his cow at 147 yards.

It was his last chance for a youth hunt in NM, where does the time go.
