Land management agency impact stories...

classic maga mindset. Clueless about the real issue and compensating with hate.

Bro just explained the facts to you but as we all know, maga finds facts to be inconvenient, hence the lashing out. smh

Im not lashing out at anyone. Just stating facts.

Typical democrat……lash out, call me MAGA and play the victim card with no solutions to actually fix the real problem.. lol

LOL I'm not democrat pal. And I call it as I see it. Your comments were straight out of a maga manual. Deflect and attack, and ask for more law enforcement. LOL

I'm guessing by your flippant comments, you never served as an LEO.

That answers my question. Bone spurs probably keep you out tho.

Here it is again. Now answer like an adult this time instead of a petulant child -

"But it’s true that DOGE terminated the employees and contracts that cleaned up the poop and needles. Which of these facts do you take issue with?"

You do know there is no changing his mind no matter what you say. ‘Lazy, entitled gov’t employee’ he says.

Guy has no clue and he’s not willing to learn. His overused talking points are way easier to puke out than admit he might be wrong.

Laugh emoji’s are funny @Mallardsx2.

My employees are lazy SOB’s that need their hand held and I need help to motivate them.
Or…
They would absolutely work circles around you and make a laughing stock out of you. But would go way out of their way to give you a hand in any situation you find yourself in.

Can you please help me decide which is which as you seem to know what every gov’t worker is by using your lazy ass talking points.

People like me want to hire law enforcement to prevent and or arrest or remove those shitstains of society that are causing those issues in the first place.
Just a question, but just how in the actual fugg do you hire LEO's, in particular enough to monitor every camp site on national forest, with no budget and a hiring freeze?

Also when you lose 25% of your workforce, and take say a trail crew person to clean up the shit and needles, who does the trail work?

But, yeah, other than that I see no issues with your proposal.

The level of entitlement of federal employees is off the charts with this entire thread.
As is the complete and utter ignorance of what federal land management employees actually do. Seems to be willful ignorance too, since it’s been explained ad nauseum yet people still continue with the assinine comments. If you really want to talk about facts…

No agency I’m familiar with has ever hired people “just” to clean poop and needles. Those people maintain signs, maintain picnic areas, maintain buildings and boat ramps, staff visitor centers, collect fees, deliver programs, and do a bunch of other things besides. As staffing has shrunk, some of those functions have been contracted out. But when you fire the staff, and cancel the contracts, newsflash….none of that gets done. Shocker. The accumulation of human shit is just the most disgusting result that grabs headlines.

So now you’ve got hydrologist Betty driving a couple hours from where she actually works to go scrub outhouses, pick up needles and do facilities maintenance (which she probably is fine with tbh if it’s something that really needs to get done even though she isn’t equipped or trained for such) while her normal duties sit undone and the public bitches about how lazy she is. (Which, btw, I’m going to call bullshit on this constant implication that somehow folks in the private sector are magically able to be in two places at once, hours apart, while physically doing 2 or more jobs at the same time.) And after all that, you still need a contractor with a vac truck to come empty the damn vault toilets because that stuff isn’t going to disappear on its own and Betty sure as hell can’t fix it. But yes, big thank you to DOGE for this model of efficiency.

And if you think hiring a couple more LEOs is going to solve the problem you are living in La-La Land. One officer to tens or hundreds of thousands of visitors isn’t going to make them stop shitting, littering, and vandalizing things. And that’s assuming they don’t pull LE out of the agencies completely. I expect the ones we do have will shortly be spending way more time on immigration and less time on public land enforcement as it is. Our LEOs were categorized as “national assets” and rotated to the border continuously during Trump 1.0. We’ve already been told that national security is the priority.

The last part I don’t necessarily disagree with.

When I lived in AZ, I spent a lot of time in a certain major smuggling corridor because there were big deer there and one year Inhad a sheep client to guide and another year my friends son had the tag.

The only LE I ever saw, except for BP after I called them, was BLM Rangers that were sent down from the strip.

I know the strip needs law enforcement too but these guys were in the thick of it breaking up smuggling for several weeks.

Interesting opinions/thoughts.

Do you think national security is more or less important?

The idea you can have enough LEO presence in public lands to bring vandalism to a point of near non-existence is as ridiculous as they come.

Ya. Almost as ridiculous as thinking it’s not even worth trying to course correct.

Nobody thinks that there will be a LEO at every camp site Buzz. Get real.

You’re so desperate for full govt work force control….your lifetime of federal “work” is showing.

I think the way it’s being wielded by this admin is a red herring. Dismantling the entire government and exposing its entire underpinnings, data, and security systems to foreign actors in the name of national security is itself the largest violation of national security I’ve ever witnessed.

But it appears you are now going to change the subject, so I’m out.
