semi live as we are “out there” at treeline with few spots with cell service. probably mostly impossible to post pics daily but will try.

21 should be a fun year. Archery Elk, deer and pronghorn in Colo and bison in Az. Also archery aoudad in NM

Today we, ABQBW, my brother, and me are headed into the Colo wilderness, with two llamas, getting ready to put a combined 26 pref points to good use chasing elk starting on the 2nd.

We have most all of season through Sept 30 to get it done. I have to work a week or so midseason. BF7C479E-EB15-4E46-96FA-A3C3197164B9.jpeg1C1ECE1D-C412-4A43-9612-C18E39C456B2.jpeg

Hope to be able to post some stories and pics along the way. We are first timers with llamas so that is a new wrinkle for sure. Rented them for the whole season.

July scouting trip where we selected pack in spots a, b, and c.

Cue up Andy Williams singing "It's the most wonderful time of the year"

Knowing the adventure report will be worth the wait.

With the combination of rugged good looks and lethal hunting skills hitting the mountain today, the elk have some grave concerns. If Brandon gets an itchy trigger finger, tell him "WWBD" or "What Would Buschy Do?". I am sure he will make the right choice.

bugled in this bull to 15 yds a few minutes ago. got great video of it bugling in my face for 3 minutes. . Not what we are looking for so just enjoyed the show.
