Is your mall crawler ready to go?

Just dropped my Raptor off at the Ford dealership. They said it will take three or four days. First trip of the season is next week.

Anyone NOT have cam phaser issues with the EcoBoost? It took 90K miles for mine to shit the bed, but seems that such is a requirement for a 3.5L.

93K on the truck over the course of five seasons. New shocks last year (they are expensive for this rig). New tires in October. Trying to get another season or two out of it.

Y'all need to get busy with those rookie numbers. The brand new '25 Subaru Crosstrek that I picked up the middle of last October just went over 29,000 on the way home today from a grouse scouting trip. To be fair, it gets an even 500 a week just back & forth to work.
I'll get the 5th tire rotation and 6th oil change done within the next two weeks. Upcoming trips are a short 700 miles round trip dove hunting to southern Indiana then a trip for dusky grouse to Colorado before October.
Hopefully a couple of weekend trips to the eastern UP in October with one extended trip to western UP the end of October.

I'm expecting to start brake replacement by spring.
I did 105 miles round trip to work for 6 years, sometimes 7 days a week and After I got to work I could easily do another 70 on my work truck. Now my wife does it 3 days a week, but in the opposite direction.

I just got a new rig a few weeks ago. It’s the first rig I’ve ever had that has less than 200,000 miles on it. Hopefully in 12 years I’ll be able to say I’m trading in with 250 to 300k miles on it. The odometer reads 1051 right now.

Just got home yesterday from a 2500 mile round trip excursion towing the new trailer. Got new tires and had an oil change prior to leaving, and put on Roadactive Suspension to improve towing. Pretty pleased with how everything handled but I’m glad I’ll not be towing a trailer for my hunt this October. The gas mileage was astounding…

Got my tacoma new in June of 23 and sitting at just over 58,000 now. Just finished a 2800 mile round-trip to kill a NV speed goat and still love this truck. Every ding, dent, and scratch has a story to tell.

New tires is the only thing on the list before our next out of state hunts in Nov for a NM deer hunt.

Traded in my 2011 Tacoma for this 2023 with 7,600 miles back in May. Getting first oil change Saturday at 12,600. Already had one pretty good puncture (rock?) through stock Kevlar tires on FS road so hoping these do as well as the Falken Wildpeaks did on my previous rig (never had a puncture).

Took my back seats out to get more room. Surprising how much easier it is to get my loaded pack in and out. Might take the backs off as well but just pulled the seats so far as it’s a quick install if I need them for passenger. Backs are a bit more involved I believe.

Getting the OTT tune next Saturday, the shifting is pretty annoying above 70 on highway and this seems to be the fix (which seems silly Toyota hasn’t addressed this).

Excited to try out crawl control and see what kind of road shenanigans I can get in and out of this season with snow etc.

Love/hate the SmartCap but mostly satisfied with it. The newer tailgates are thicker and the back doesn’t cover top of tailgate completely so I always get dirt/dust on my pants when I drop it and inevitably brush up against it.

Curious why you needed a new engine at 54,000 miles?

All 2022, 23, and some 24 non-hybrids got new engines. Some shmuck at the Atlanta assembly plant wasn't cleaning the blocks sufficiently, so Toyota gave us all new engines. Not even just a short block, everything. Turbos, intercoolers, etc. Only thing they moved over from my 52k engine was the serpentine belt, and the wiring harness.

I just got a ‘25 and the salesman spoke about that issue.

My 2019 F250 diesel will turn over 100k here shortly. I only use it for hunting/camping/boating so it sits for a good part of the year. Oil changes and tires are all I've done to it so far. One thing that makes a big difference for me is running Winter and Summer tires and switching them religiously in Nov. and May.
