Is your mall crawler ready to go?

No maintenance for me this year. Dropped the truck off at 8 a.m on June 16th. Toyota had a whole new engine slapped in it within 36 hours.

54k on the body and 2k on the engine. Still problem free.
All 2022, 23, and some 24 non-hybrids got new engines. Some shmuck at the Atlanta assembly plant wasn't cleaning the blocks sufficiently, so Toyota gave us all new engines. Not even just a short block, everything. Turbos, intercoolers, etc. Only thing they moved over from my 52k engine was the serpentine belt, and the wiring harness.

I had this done about 3 weeks ago at 40k. Dropped it off at 7:30 Monday morning and they called me at 2 PM Tuesday that it was done, including brake rotor resurfacing and gearbox oil changes.

188k on the 2017 GMC. It is headed to the dealer for a scheduled service Thursday.

Everything is fine except for me rubbing a guardrail today. Almost saved it, but now I've got a pin stripe from the passenger bumper to the end of the read door.
Thankfully neither the cab nor the bed took a hit.

I’m sticking with the 275/70/18s, in either another set or Falkens or Cooper S/T Maxx. I think it’s about the perfect combination of height without being too wide, and I don’t want to lose performance towing or deal with regearing, or make chains more difficult to fit.
I have this discussion with myself a couple of times a year, more often when it’s approaching tire time, and always come back to the same conclusion as this.

Got my tacoma new in June of 23 and sitting at just over 58,000 now. Just finished a 2800 mile round-trip to kill a NV speed goat and still love this truck. Every ding, dent, and scratch has a story to tell.
I know a guy with a early 2000s Taco as his do everything mountain truck, and for the last few years he's had both side view mirrors (glass) smashed out from narrow brushy roads. Not in a hurry to replace them since he said they'll just get busted out again. All that fir branch-infused pinstriping looks good though.

New Nokian ATs last October, RCI Offroad alum skids front and middle/transmission a few months ago

Just dropped my Raptor off at the Ford dealership. They said it will take three or four days. First trip of the season is next week.

Anyone NOT have cam phaser issues with the EcoBoost? It took 90K miles for mine to shit the bed, but seems that such is a requirement for a 3.5L.

93K on the truck over the course of five seasons. New shocks last year (they are expensive for this rig). New tires in October. Trying to get another season or two out of it.
Wife has been thinking about an expedition. In researching, I’ve learned that the cam issue was supposedly resolved mid to late 22.

Not Luckily for me, my F 150 was made in early 2022. 85k miles now so looking forward to that

We’ll see what I get. I ordered a Taco.

I rented an F150 in NM years ago. I think I’m still banned from renting from National.
After a couple NM excursions with a buddy. I would NEVER buy a car that came from a rental company. Thank God they dont look underneath when you bring it back.
