I have the same weed and the same issue, just 2-4-D hasn't hardly been touching it. I'll try the mixes suggested here.

Cub guy is about right but don't forget the sticker which is what breaks down the waxy layer on the leaf that lets the plant take in the chemical. Our weed control has been much better with higher quality products and higher rates. The kills will be quicker also.
