Hey guys and gals any real estate agents on here that I could maybe chat with? We have our house up for sale and I’m worried we might be priced a little high. When I’ve sold in the past it’s always been a pretty fast process. The showings have been very slow and I’d love someone to just eye ball it and see what they think. I can PM you the listing if anyone would care to look at it for me. I have a pretty good track record in CO and WY for elk I could trade out some info for your time if interested. Thanks!

Real estate valuation is local. You need someone familiar with your local market to give you any credible advice. Reach out to a different Realtor in your area.

Yea I thought about that but figured they could look at comps in the area. Was hoping to just chat with someone who won’t have any motives to get me to list with them and just give some friendly advice.

I hear ya there. That’s an uneasy feeling wondering if your biggest investment is priced correctly. Hopefully it is and things will take off soon.

I'm a broker in Utah and Idaho but I'll only have access to comps on my local MLS. I'm not sure where you're located, but you'll need to ask somebody on your MLS or they won't even be able to get comps to compare to.

Obviously, if you're in my area, I'm happy to help. 👍

I went thru this process and it was partly the realtor not doing a very good or i should say didnt have a great network of buyers yet as she was new to the business. We ended up shopping around for a new realtor. Got a new realtor dropped price slightly and had more showings in a week than we had in 6 months. The new realtor had a network of buyers in 4 different states that were strictly interested in log homes. It was sold in 10 days with new realtor to a guy who lived an hour away and just didnt know it was for sale, but the new realtor knew what he was looking for and called him right away. 4 months later she sold my neighbors house in less than a month. My 2 cents would be shop around for realtors and ask them if they have anyone in their network thats looking for a house in your area.
