Heartland Whitetail Part 2....

Hello again. Got lucky and filled my other tag for the year this past weekend on a nice whitetail. Got this dear on family land in western nebraska. A friend we were hunting with was on the opposite side of the property and had missed a nice muley. I went over to where he was sitting to hear his story and help him look for blood and sign to rule out a clean miss. Low and behold...over the same ridge walked a nice whitetail and I anchored him in place. Very happy and I feel blessed. Its been a good season for me.

very nice buck! i have got several bucks that way, looking for one a partner shot at and had another good buck pop up. Never know where they will show up when the rut is on!

We're guessing a hot doe was in the area...better to be lucky then good!

Ha Yes Randy! It was rather cold! But hard to take you seriously on this comment when you just got done posting a story about hunting Montana Muleys in frigid temps and high winds! Congrats on your deer as well, sir.
