Hammer bullets?

If it wasn’t so close to season I’d be ordering a few 123 absolute hammers to see how they shoot in wife’s 6.5-06 and my 6.5 Sherman
Don't have a dial ordered for the 300 RUM/181 Hammer Hunters yet so I'm tempted to try some 178 Absolutes for speed. They work in my 1:10....will call Steve

I'm thinking I'll try these out in my 6.5 CM this winter. If 3-400 fps is truly achievable, my Kimber will spit these out at 32-3300 fps.

Edit: just saw these are also offered in 140 grain .284s. Yeesh, I could legitimately get 33-3400 fps out of my 22" Mountain Rifle.

Muley buck vs 124 Hammer Hunter at 396 yards out of the 6.5 Creedbro. 5 steps and a 50 yard tumble down the hill.

As per usual, no bullet recovery.

Been seeing a big group of does in a stubble field of some block management every night so decided tonight I’d make a play on them. 120 yard army crawl to get 250 yards from this doe that had 6 young bucks messing with her. She bang flopped. Really digging the lack of meat damage 338 win mag 213 grain hammer hunter. B87CBD1A-AE47-4E57-9C67-ADF3A1F4672A.jpeg

Bison. Approx 150, 180, 300. No way to know which bullet was from which shot though. Several ribs broke, no other bone hits.
