So when my grandfather died he was living in Seattle. His daughter, my Aunt bragged about turning his guns into Seattle PD during a buy back program. Belgium browning citori, Winchester pre 64 in 270. I've hope some cop is hunting with them so they didn't get destroyed

I have a gun that I would love to turn into a buy back. It is not safe to shoot, nor valuable enough to repair. It needs to go away, and being paid for it would be awesome. But no luck.

Can I put on my own "Gun Buyback Event" If I'm just buying them for myself, I should not need an FFL? Of course the reason would be to make the world a safer place. A lot of well intentioned idiots in this world.

They could be more cost effective if they sub-contracted with the cartels to dispose of those assault rifles off-site.

Everytime I see hunting rifles in a pile of “buy back” guns on TV in always envision some pissed off housewife taking revenge on a cheating husband.

Some one should've told him to tune the foreend screw...That poor, sweet, innocent Ruger #1 got caught up in a gun buy back in Oakland today. $100-$300 gift card was the going rate.
