Part of a great conservation success story

I got another one.

Not all is lost in this world as evident by what I participated in today.

County Sheriff's office was holding a fundraiser at the local conservation and gun club.

I showed up to hundreds of people walking around with pistols and shotguns on their shoulders. There was a 50 bird trap shoot which is what we participated in.

Officers were doing shooting demonstrations, showing off their new thermal drone and duck skiff turned law enforcement machine. Dozens of officers in uniform walking side by side with citizens wielding firearms.

They were serving beer, $2 a can. Solid deal if you ask me. My wife and I had a few during our shoot while bs'in with an officer we knew and a few others.

No one got hurt, no one shot up the place.

Made me feel good and confident in what our local sheriff's office is all about.
