Fukushima meltdown

uh oh.... things are getting even worst....
TOKYO – Japan's nuclear safety agency said an explosion Tuesday at an earthquake-damaged nuclear power plant may have damaged a reactor's containment vessel and that a radiation leak is feared

If it happened in America, it would be called "The China Syndrome", what do you call it if it happens in Japan ?

TOKYO (AP) -- Japan's top government spokesman says that a surge in radiation means workers are unable to continue even minimal efforts at a stricken nuclear plant.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano said Wednesday that work on dousing reactors with water was disrupted when workers were forced to withdraw after radiation levels surged early in the day.

Dad worked at the INL (AEC) in Idaho for 24 years as an operator where the fuel rods were kept in cooling canals. Brother, sis and I just kind of grew up with it as he was always very up front with us as far as what he could talk about, course that was in the 60's, very early 70's. Still kind of gives us the bee geez, now.

today is the big day. if this powerline is connected and they still cant restore the cooling pumps/ system with the electricity back up then the situation is going to get much uglier.

The helicopters pilots or the guys that go in to cover the fuel with sand and concrete will be sacrificing themselves, if it comes to that.

The full moon is in Perigree tonight!!! Fear mongers delite! CA will fall off the west coast and the New Madrid Fault will reopen and the Mississippi River will have a tsunami rushing from the Gulf up middle America and destoying all in the Middle US!
Nuke rad.....hmmmm, the amount expected to reach CA is about half of what you get when flying from LA to Chicago.....death by cancer? Studies show the worst event in history from a Nuke Power plant, Chernobyl, which exposed around 600,000 people had 4000 deaths by thyroid cancer which is probably due to lack of iodine in Ukrainian diet and that most who escaped the blast at Hiroshima lived longer than the average Jap life expectancy.....Greenies and MSM don't tell it that way , do they??? Oh! Don't forget the horrible accident at Three Mile----no evidence ANYONE died.....
Have a nice day....JEEEEZ!!!

in the end the worst impact (aside from to the 1st responders) will be that a huge chunk of land will be contaminated many decades.

Of course we could have predicted the Californians to overreact, hell they are scared of plastic bottles.
