Saw AIC at the Monsters of Rock Tour in Houston when they were the opening act. Blew everyone else away. Slayer came close to matching the energy, but they fell flat on whipping the crowd up like AIC did. After their set, the bassist came out and hung out with the crowd on the floor for awhile. Cool guy.

I went to middle school with Layne's cousin. I was in the metalhead group, and she came up to me one day and gave me a tape, it was a demo of Facelift. I wish I still had it for nostalgia purposes. Thanks for the trip down angry teenager memory lane today Ben.
