Friday Tunes "Gotta be a Musician to Play Music"

Going out with bands which are way underrated on Musicianship.

I love Baxter and Carlton, but Becker doesn't get enough credit as a guitar player.

Pete Townshend solo work from the 80's:
Features David Gilmour guitar , Simon Phillips drums, Pino Palladino bass. (Pino plays the sweet bass lines on Don Henley's "Sunset Grill" and others.)

I was asked to share this with you fellows and will------I remember the first time we saw Tom Jones at the Flamingo in Las Vegas, late 1960,s . The women went crazy, even more so than for Elvis. They tried to get onstage, threw their underwear onto the stage with their phone number or room number scribbled on it. Some threw their room keys. So, possibly Tom should be included in this thread, although to my knowledge he only sang, maybe played the piano, I dont remember. And no I didn't throw anything on stage as my husband wa with me and I was an Elvis fan ;) But all joking aside the boy put on a good show and had a good voice .
I'll fight anyone who thinks that singing isn't every bit as difficult as playing a guitar. ;)

Two of the Best: Tom Jones covering a Prince tune:
