So smart you are! Hogs destroy everything on our place including feeders so yes hogs are an exception!

I have never had a client harvest an Aoudad, Elk, Sika, Black Buck, Axis or Whitetail off a feeder. ANYTHING ELSE??

Those pictures got my attention.

I am headed to Texas next week for a public draw hunt at Devils River state park just north of Del Rio and Mexico. Texas F&G wants the exotics reduced within the park so the native whitetail deer have less habitat competition. Several hunts are held at the park each year. Is rare a trophy aoudad or axis is seen and some hunters never fire a shot. Considering it is 80F in mid-March and sunny...beats what I would otherwise do that week!

Don't know what HCC expects,.. He comes on a forum where guys discuss the adventures they take on their own, without guides most of the time, and on land where they don't have to pay to hunt. Then his thread is nothing more than a commercial for his guiding business. (that or he likes to show off his photography skills). I think he should be charged an advertising fee or asked to not promote his business. Otherwise it appears to me that he only does this to try to pick a fight and ruffle feathers just for kicks?? It's comical for a while, but maybe the best option would be if everyone did what we call "put the IGnore to him". I know I won't even bother to open any more threads by HCC. Wow, is it hunting season yet??? long winter!!

When I moved from Montana to Texas for my first job I was dumbfounded by the lack of public land. I couldn't believe people would pay to hunt a "lease," especially fenced exotic species. The warm-water fishing was great and the Texas people are the best, but I'm glad to be back in Montana where the land is still pretty wild.
